    Via Robert…

  5. What is Microsoft’s Origami Project?

Ok so the million dollar question that everybody’s been asking today is what is Microsoft’s Origami Project? And how comes I haven’t heard much about it since today?
Well one of the reasons is that there hasn’t been much press release on it…

  13. [...] Microsoft has opened a viral marketing site about something called Origami. It was discovered by Design Tastes Good, they sent an email to Scoble with questions and Scoble responded in his snobby manner “I know everything, but I can’t say it to you”. And not the hell broke loose. [...]

I Hate Macs? What is your problem in general?…

Yea, I hate the computer that crashes once every arrival of Haleys Comet,

I hate the beautiful industrial design,

I hate the innovative features that Apple develops a year and a half before Microsoft’s “new and innovative” features.

Most of all, I hate not having to be a computer tech just so I can make my computer work like its supposed to work. No spyware to remove, no virus’s to cure, not having to upgrading components to make it work like an elite supercomputer.

Man, Your Right, I really do hate my mac.

  17. roark says:

btw, rumor has it the iPod is going to be upgraded to video status, no physical click wheel anymore, it will be a virtual one that appears on the screen when you touch it. The whole body of the iPod will be one big screen. I have to imagine like a PSP with out the joysticks and buttons.

even more reasons to hate Apple I suppose… “innovation, not imitation!!! Join the cult or die of envy.

  18. roark says:

Macromedia was already bought/acquired by Adobe. Not sure if a Microsoft acquisition would have been worse.

  19. [...] What is Origami? Is it a pda? Is it a microPC? Is it a phone? Is it a portable media player? Is it a gaming platform? NetworkWorld says it is definitely an ultra portable lifestyle pc. Maybe it isn’t even a device…. The best discussions on this topic are at scoble’s site and designtastesgood. Not much at wikipedia yet. ARGN doesn’t seem to have declared it an ARG. There is no discussion of it on their forums, so far. [...]

  22. Folder of Paper says:

Origami is the worlds first consumer oriented flying super computer. It is shaped like a frisbee and comes stock with 20 terrabytes of PIM using a superconducting cmos process.

It flies by effecting local density changes in the zero point energy field by counterrotating its massive memory chips.

The Origami computers respond to voice commands, can read your email, filter spam, act as a cell phone, tablet pc/browser and even make cool lightup designs and swoosh sounds when thrown around as a frisbee. Water resistant up to 100 ft and recharges after a full days use in a matter of seconds.

  23. jp says:

Good one Folder given the hype… won’t you be surprised if it is all true?
